At Asho Farms, we believe that the future of agriculture lies in the balance between ancestral wisdom and modern precision. Based in Palamaner, Andhra Pradesh, we operate a vertically integrated sericulture ecosystem — from our specialised Silkworm Seed Production Center to our high-capacity Chawki Center.

We are committed to the consistent delivery of high-quality silkworm seeds and young age silkworm larvae, ensuring that farmers have access to the strongest genetic foundations for their own harvests. We move forward as a collective — by utilising organic techniques, we ensure the health of our soil and the quality of our yield, while our investment in automated infrastructure allows us to scale these solutions for the entire region.

1996
The Foundation
Established with a core vision: produce disease-free silkworm seed grounded in science and integrity. The first mulberry plots were planted in Andhra Pradesh.
2000 – 2015
Chawki Rearing Centre Launch
Opened the Chawki Rearing Centre (CRC) to supply healthy young silkworms directly to farmers — reducing crop failure risk and improving yield consistency across partner farmers. Grew to over 50 acres of mulberry cultivation.
2016 – 2019
Organic Farm
Adopted organic techniques and chemical-free rearing inputs that set a new quality benchmark for the region.
